Just to thank you for running such a clean and efficient site in ,what is , a perfect location for us.We have been staying in this area for the past thirty years or so and this was the first time at your site....I know it won't be the last ! We thought that you coped admirably with the slight technical hitch regarding the toilets/showers-for us this is all part of the experience-always expect the unexpected !.If only the weather had been half as welcoming and accommodating as your good selves then that might have enhanced the experience somewhat,but you learn to do the best you can with what you've got !Wishing you all the very best of luck in all your ventures and aspirations and once again,thanks for a great few days-hope to see you next year !!! The views from this site are amazing, and the fishing village of Porthleven (which is only a short walk away) is picturesque. The facilities are basic, but if you do not mind this (which we do not)you will love it. The pitch sizes are very large and you can basically choose where you would like to pitch. Martin (owner) and his family are friendly and willing to help, and I am sure Martin will oblige if you want a new potato or two with your bbq of an evening. So if you like lots of good walks, pubs, and amazing views then you will no doubt love this site.

Just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed our stay with you. Depending on our work commitments, we may very well pop down for another night this coming Tuesday!Thanks again, Nic

Hi there Just wanted to say what a wonderful weekend we've staying at the Penrose Campsite, It brought back so many memories of how camping should be. Just the open air and very little else! Clean facilities and open space, I would recommend it to others but don't want to spoil it ?????????I'll be back Annie and Sandy

Thank you for setting up your great little campsite I had three happy nights there last Thu/Fri/Sat and it's so handy being close to the village where my relatives live. The man who took my money was so friendly and welcoming - a big change from some campsites I've been to. It's a pity you're only open July and August so hopefully you'll give some thought to opening a longer season.Kind regards

We had a wonderful time staying on your site! We have been talking and would love to come again next year!!
The toilet and shower facilities were 'spot on'! So clean and all that hot water! Brilliant!!
We had such a good time, the site was perfect, so glad the weather held out for the whole 2 weeks!
The walks and cycle routes were great. We went on a bike ride all the way round the lake, it was brilliant and quite a few times we had a walk to the Atlantic Inn! We have fallen in love with Porthleven, we have even made friends with a couple of the locals!!Thank you again for making us feel welcome!

Hello to you all, Just writing to say 'what a fantastic campsite!' We had a great time and it was lovely to be somewhere so quiet, beautiful and freindly. The showers were lovely and hot and everything was so clean. It was great to meet you and to recieve such a relaxed and kind welcoming. We were sorry not to see you to say goodbye before we left on Saturday. We had a great holiday and loved the site and surroundings at Penrose.
Thank you for sharing your land with us – we walked down to the view point a couple of times and are very envious of your working environment! Thank you too, Martin, for taking good care of the ‘facilities’ and for setting up the cold drinking water tap.
We do wish you well with the site; I’m sure you’ll work hard to preserve that wonderful atmosphere of space and informality which is so appealing.

Had a lovely time in Cornwall and we both really enjoyed staying in your field. Peaceful and quiet and the facilities although you described them as basic they were very good - going back to basics is what camping is all about. It was a most relaxing holiday - the camp site is so quiet, with panaramic views of the countryside. When you go to bed at night all you hear is the sound of the sea in the background.
