Left: Porthleven beach is a sandy beach and about half a mile from the camp site.. This beach is safe for swimming and is very convenient to the site and the amenities in the village. Follow this link to the Cornwall County Council web site on Porthleven Beach. There is a dog ban at this beach from Easter day to 1st October, 7am-7pm. However, the beach area from the blue buoy steps towards the Loe Bar is dog friendly all year around.
